Informational use only
What’s Building Near Me organizes covered public city records for informational review. Reports may help you decide what to verify next, but they do not replace official sources or professional advice.
Public records can be incomplete
Public records may be incomplete, outdated, changed, cancelled, or wrong, and report rules may interpret records incorrectly. Source descriptions can contain errors. Always verify important decisions with official City of Vancouver sources and qualified professionals.
Not professional advice
Reports are not legal, real estate, investment, engineering, municipal, construction, or permitting advice. Do not rely on a report as the only basis for a purchase, lease, investment, renovation, or other important decision.
Report links
Paid report access uses secure browser sessions and short-lived access links. A clean report URL by itself should not open paid content without a valid session. Do not share checkout or access links publicly.
Acceptable use
Do not misuse the service, scrape it, bypass payment, reverse engineer private endpoints, interfere with security controls, or overload the app, APIs, providers, or infrastructure.
Payments
Paid reports are one-time purchases processed through Stripe Checkout. This app does not store full card numbers or card security codes. If you have a problem accessing a report you purchased, contact support@whatsbuildingnearme.ca and we will try to help. Refund questions are reviewed manually; we do not promise automatic refunds.
30-day update watch
The Report + 30-day Watch tier is based on covered public city records and scheduled checks. It does not guarantee that every new, changed, delayed, corrected, or relevant record will be caught or emailed at a specific time. Email delivery depends on provider availability and the customer email supplied through checkout. Always verify important decisions with official City of Vancouver sources.
Emails
Emails are used for transactional, report, payment, update-watch, security, and support purposes only. Update-watch emails are service emails for customers who buy that tier. Marketing emails will not be sent unless you separately consent.
Limitation of liability
The service is provided as available. To the extent permitted by law, we are not responsible for losses or decisions made from incomplete, outdated, unavailable, incorrect, or misunderstood report information.
